How do I update my music preferences?

You can update your music preferences at any time through the app's settings or profile section. Adjust your preferred genres, tags, moods, and energy levels to get recommendations that better match your taste.

How do I enable push notifications for daily reminders?

When you first open the app, you'll be prompted to allow push notifications. If you declined initially, you can enable them later through your device's settings. Go to Settings → SongSprout → Notifications and toggle them on.

Can I see my listening history?

Yes! Your listening history, including all your daily recommendations and favorited songs, is saved in the app. You can access it through the app's history or favorites section.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data through the account settings in the app. Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

I'm having trouble signing in with Apple Sign In. What should I do?

Make sure you're using a device that supports Apple Sign In (iOS 13+ or macOS 10.15+). If you continue to have issues, try signing out and signing back in, or restart the app. If problems persist, please contact our support team.

The song preview isn't working. How can I fix this?

Song previews are provided through YouTube. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If the preview still doesn't work, try closing and reopening the app, or check if YouTube is accessible on your device.

How does the recommendation algorithm work?

Our algorithm uses your music preferences (genres, tags, moods, energy levels) to curate personalized daily recommendations. The more you interact with songs (liking, favoriting), the better the recommendations become over time.
